This restaurant underwent a 2 month refurbishment to give it a refreshing look and was repositioned to appeal to fans of grill, BBQ specialties and comfort food.
The refurbishment involved major renovation to kitchen part where the world’s finest modular and assembled pizza ovens was placed in ensuring that the chefs can cook anything perfectly to their heart desire and satisfy all guests with an authentic wood fired oven taste.
With the taking over of new Chef de Cuisine Carlos Bravo, who was born and raised in Mexico, Red Rum restaurant will charm any taste buds with explosive and exciting flavors of every dishes. Chef Bravo will bring not only authenticity with his cooking, but also a youthful take and creative idea with local Phu Quoc ingredients twist to his dishes. Chef Carlos Bravo, Chef de Cuisine, said: “We are pleased to present a new Red Rum restaurant to the market, which we believe will appeal to a wider range of foodies. With its "prime location," located right next to the beautiful beach, the out-door Red Rum restaurant gives its guests the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the Emerald bay and its tranquil rhythm in turquoise themed color.”
He continued: “The menu has been significantly changed with more and more special dishes. We would like to utilize the richness of local ingredients with creative twists to create more unique dishes with tasty flavors. During lunch, our guests can enjoy never-before “Phở bò” pizza, Phu Quoc seafood pizza, tortilla wrap, crispy corn tortilla or fish tacos baja.
